Powering the Studio

We're not electricians, and that's precisely why we need a professional on-board to help supply mains power to the recording studio... It's dangerous stuff!

It's important for a recording studio to have a properly supplied mains power in order to minimise various noise problems in the recording equipment and instruments. The way to achieve this involves separating the various things that require power across a 3-phase supply.

The above plan, completed in consultation with Valley Audio, shows how the 3-phase supply is allocated across the power requirements of the studio. Sockets for audio equipment are separated from sockets that will be used for general appliances such as heaters, kettles, phone chargers etc. The lights are then supplied by the remaining phase.

All the information about our requirements are now with the electrician and we hope to hear back from him very shortly.
